I was pleasantly surprised with this box. The velvet inside the box is just as smooth as the outside. It definitely was perfect for presenting a medallion. Absolutely stunning.
Bought this as part of a gift set. The coin in the set came in a plastic coin holder. If you want to use the box you have to take it out of the plastic holder. It still didn't matter he didn't use either one. His coin ended up in a Keychain I had previously purchased.

It's a really simple and elegant design. Perfect for any occasion. I just wish the pocket indentation was slightly deeper to better stabilize the medallion during travel.
